Writing on Hubpages: Making Each Hub Easier To Write!
66People are struggling to produce content!
It is clear that many people on Hubpages currently want to produce more content; however they struggle to conjure up the motivation to get through the process. Hubpages has already simplified the structuring of your Hubs, so that you can get them completed in a short amount of time...
Despite this however, many of us seem to not actually know what to write about, or what precisely should be included in a Hub either... Whilst almost everyone could be helped by just taking a look at the learning centre one more time, I see this as an opportunity to share my knowledge on writing, and how to make the process even easier for you!
Article writing.
Choose a Topic You're Passionate About!
From reading other people's hubs on Hubpages, it always shows when an author has passion towards the subject, and when he/she is simply writing it to make some money. The immediate difference between the two is that the passionate writer can write the Hub in about thirty minutes, whilst the other guy might have to spend up to two hours trying to get the same result! What does this show us? It shows that writing on a topic that you have passion for, and possibly a large amount of pre-knowledge on can really help you with your writing.
For instance I have a passion for helping people succeed, so I often do research on how to improve people's lives, so I can write a highly motivational Hub within one hour at the maximum. That's the power of having a passionate topic to write about...
Type as quickly as you can!
Obviously try to avoid typing too many mistakes whilst doing this, but always try to type as quickly as you possibly can while maintaining a good amount of accuracy. This way you significantly deduct the amount of time it will take for you to write your Hub; also it's a great exercise for your brain too! The faster that you type your Hub, the faster your brain has to send signals to your body, meaning that you produce content quicker and train your brain!
A bit of wisdom I will share with you though, is that it's best to always type out the text on a word document, before transferring it over to Hubpages. I find that once I written around 600 words, I can be assured that I have enough content for my Hub.
Plan out your hub.
One of the best pieces of advice I was ever told about writing on Hubpages, was to always plan out what I wanted to include within each Hub. This lowered my actual writing time down to a mere 20 minutes, as well as helped me find the method to writing more than one Hub a day. Whilst I do feel that publishing more than one Hub a day is approaching the point of spam, it's still acceptable to publish one a day but write more on a separate word document. In a way you could call this writing for the next day, as you publish every Hub you write today for tomorrow!
Before I end this hub, I must tell you that a great way to plan out your Hub is to use the sytem of mind mapping. Simply write your topic or title in a circle in the middle of a blank page, and then have several links coming off it all showing a different aspect of the Hub. Thank you for reading this Hub, and have a great day Hubbing!

Thanks for the info!
thanx
Writing has always been quite easy for me. Everybody I knew in college was jealous of how fast I could crank out A+ term papers. Once I finally decide on a topic, that is. My problem is, I spend way too much time thinking about and researching what topics to write on.
By the way, I heartily second your comment about mind-mapping. That is a very useful thinking tool!
Great info. I do think that the first step should be to research heavily. Whatever you are writing about I think it always helps to double check your facts and see how you can elaborate. Checking online or offline could help!
Also I would recommend that you should write your hub offline, then double check it before you bring it into Hubpages.
Great hub! I especially liked your suggestion of "mind mapping". I'll have to try that out next time I write a hub. Voted up and useful.
This is a great post drspaniel, the more hubs I write the easier it gets. I love choosing topics that I take an interest in, so that I can contribute my opinion as well, giving each hub a more personal touch. Cheers, BB
You are right about passion. Once I find a topic, then the writing comes easily.
I agree - writing about your passion and planning out your hub does make it much easier to write.
Great tips! Planning and mind-mapping help enormously, both for topic inspiration, and speed of hub writing.

great Hub...Thanks for the info!
I haven't written many hubs here, but between my hubs, blog posts and other articles I find that some topics just take longer than others. I also like to let my hubs sit for a couple days, then go back and look at them and make changes.
